Disciples Student Fellowship (DSF)

At Hillyer Memorial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), we are excited to introduce Disciples Student Fellowship (DSF)—a welcoming and inclusive college ministry serving students from Meredith College, North Carolina State University (NCSU), Shaw University, St. Augustine University, and William Peace University. DSF is designed to be a space of fellowship, spiritual growth, and support for students navigating the challenges of college life and young adulthood. The purpose of DSF is to provide a safe place to question, explore, and to develop a sense of community that reflects the love and compassion of Christ. Regardless of your faith background, or where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here without preaching or proselytizing.

DSF is open to all students, no matter where they are on their faith journey—whether strong in faith, questioning, or even struggling with belief. We strive to reflect the radical welcome of Jesus, embracing diversity in thought, background, and experience. Weekly gatherings will include food, fellowship, and fun, along with opportunities for prayer, Bible study, open discussions, and secular programs. Through these gatherings, students will find a place where they can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and engage in thoughtful conversations about faith and life.

DSF is student-led, ensuring that the ministry reflects the needs and voices of those it serves. A student leadership team will help guide the direction of the group, fostering a sense of ownership and community. Whether you are looking for a place to deepen your faith, ask hard questions, or simply find a supportive group of friends, you are welcome here. Join us as we seek to embody the love, grace, and inclusion of Christ in a way that is authentic, open, and engaging for all.
